I am proud to say that I was involved in the preparation of the Pfizer - BioNTech (#PfizerBioNTech) vaccine today within the NHS primary care setting, against COVID19.

My role primarily involved overseeing surgery / clean room operation and in particular reconstitution of the concentrated product in support of 0.3ml dose generation for end patient use.

It was great to utilise the aseptic skills that I taught at the undergraduate level to support a cause that will hopefully bring back some kind of normality to our lives. I cannot wait for normality.
