Integrated Product Assessment

I have now completed the planning and preparation for my new interactive, online tutorial series called ‘Integrated Product Assessment’. The first tutorial will focus on Epilim Chrono 500mg Tablets in response to my recent LinkedIn poll.

The series will be based on real-world pharmacy practice and is suitable for MPharm Levels 1 – 4 plus Foundation Year training; those studying other topics (e.g. non-medical prescribing) may also be interested to expand their understanding.  At the outset, I link my learning outcomes with those of the GPhC 2021 to ensure relevance to modern day patient healthcare.  As we progress through, consideration is given to product presentation, product application and product advice; clear links are made between presentation, formulation and patient end-use.

My slide decks will form the basis for discussion and debate, and are not intended to work as a lecture in the traditional sense.  During the 45 minute online tutorial, I will push clients to think about key aspects underpinning the application of the chosen dosage form and how those aspects inform healthcare practice.  The tutorial will be priced at £15 per client with a 20% discount available to those who have previously engaged with Pharmascholar.  The next slot, for a total of 6 people, will be at 11am on Saturday 30th January 2021.  Book via www.pharmascholar.co.uk to experience a different type of Pharmacy / Healthcare education.
