We Are Recruiting…
Following the successful launch of the new Pre-registration Pharmacy Technician training programme, HEIW will now work toward developing a 10-year strategy and defining the career pathway for Pharmacy Technicians and support staff in Wales.
In order to effectively implement the aspirations of this work, we have recognised the need to realign and increase our own resources within HEIW.
Two new posts will be introduced to the Pharmacy Technician Education, Training and Development team that will help to shape the future direction in both pre-registration and Post-Registration Education, training and development for Pharmacy Technicians and support staff in Wales.
Pharmacy Technician Pre-Registration Programme Lead - will Implement and embed the new initial education for Pharmacy Technicians across Wales and identify and implement opportunity for education, training and development of pharmacy support staff.
Pharmacy Technician Post-Registration Programme Lead - will implement and embed post registration pharmacy technician Education, training and development in response to the introduction of the new initial education and training programme for Pharmacy Technicians across Wales and manage the current post-registration pharmacy technician training programmes and the transition to new programmes effectively supporting the roll off the old training programmes.
