‘The incorporation of the Art into healthcare experience has positive impact on patient's health outcomes. There are many benefits of art in patient's health by aiding in their physical, mental and emotional recovery including relieving and decreasing the perception of pain.

In an atmosphere where patient often feels out of control, the Art can serve as a therapeutic and healing tool, reducing stress and loneliness and providing opportunities for self expression. In the new health care era of increased transparency rising consumer expectations and spiraling costs, we need solutions that improve care which is patient specific and cost effective. When the Art's like music, writing, drawing and dance are used in hosp and healthcare settings, the pain and anxiety are reduced for patients which improves their care experience.

Use of  Music in healthcare has been found very effective in increasing comfort level post operatively, decreasing use of sedatives during procedures. Furthermore it helps in decreasing anxiety in children improving depression. It reduces nausea & vomiting. Several studies shows  the inverse relationship between music and stress. If a pleasant music is played that can remove sufficient amount of stress from mind.,

Use of  Visual Arts in healthcare  also have many intrinsic and instrumental benefits in healthcare. For example use of drawings and paintings may be effective method for dealing pain and other symptoms of illness during treatment of cancer in especially children. it serve as diagnostic tool, also use to decrease symptoms of distress and mproves quality of life .

Use of dance & movement in Healthcare  has been done in many fields of therapy. The effectiveness of dance/movement therapy to reduce anxiety and improve mood, social functioning, and self-concept. Mostly it  contributes in to the delay in onset of Alzheimer’s disease for those at risk of the disorder and improving balance and mobility in individuals with Parkinson’s disease.

Use of drama in healthcare is common since the 18th century. Mental health hospitals used it as a way for patients to explore their own psychoses by developing their own plays. It was realised that Drama helped people in mental health issues and deep-set trauma that they found too painful or difficult to verbalise.

Drama Therapy is not the same as a regular drama class but it's special  training to guide people through different activities which can help them explore issues that they find difficult to deal with using traditional therapeutic routes. Many difference  are seemed in behaviour, emotional state, anxiety levels, and relationships after adopting drama.

The patient's well being is must be first priority for healthcare worker. The healthcare provider will someday become the recipient of the care as a patient and thus should always be treating the patient as they wish themselves to be treated.’
